A co-worker mentioned this book to me during what seemed like an ordinary conversation. Little did I know that the conversation would change my life by leading me to this book. Since reading this book, I’ve read Book 2, “When Everything Changes, Change Everything”, and “Happier Than God”. I’m now reading Book 3 and “New Revelations” is next. (I’ve actually read some of “New Revelations”; loaned to me by another co-worker and loved it so much, I ordered my own.) That my short attention span has allowed me to read and absorb so much over the past few months is a testament to the powerful messages in these books. Some of the information is redundant but only because it is relevant to different messages throughout the books. These books are for those who believe (or want to believe) that God is a loving, accepting God. The author talks about quantum theory in ways that anyone could understand. If you have read Deepak Chopra or Wayne Dyer and not been able to “get it”, read Neale Donald Walsch. I will re-read Chopra and Dyer after finishing my Walsch books, as I’m sure I’ll get more from them now.

We have had a different Hoover upright vacuum for over 20 years now, and it gave us GREAT service (we had to get rid of it because we vacuumed up some areas that had mildew and now it stinks, even after changing the bag).
This new TEMPO Widepath U5140-900 vacuum does a great job too. The big difference we noted is that the cord does not wind up very well like the older one did….. it is very awkward to wind up.
Another thing is that this new vacuum does not have a spot to pick it up if you are bringing it up/down the stairs….the older model had a little indentation to pick it up, which was very convenient.
The price was right, and we always love the FREE shipping.
I admit, it took me a little while to warm up to this series, but now I’m hooked! The audiobook is an incredible performance, as well. Eoin Colfer creates a fascinating new universe that is peopled with equally fascinating characters. It would be a great read for preteens, but as an adult, I thoroughly enjoyed it as well. I also love the physical book – the cover is much nicer than shown here, and it has uneven, old-fashioned looking rag paper pages. It’s much higher quality material than you usually find in a hardback.

Dream On: Live From Chicago (DVD-Amaray)I generally enjoy the Signature Sound DVD’s and have all of them since the first one when they were just “Signature Sound Quartet”. This is the first one I have seen that does not live up to their usual Great Performances. Maybe it is the fact that there is too much ’sight seeing’ in Chicago and not enough singing! Does not meet the generally high entertainment standards of the others.

Caution – you may save $ buying your ipod here, but if it breaks within the year there is no way to find out the devices serial number if it has been rubbed off the back of the ipod. We have had a lot of ipods break in less than a year, and we have never been able to read the serial numbers to get the device replaced for free. If you buy the ipod from Apple, you can log in and find the serial number and get broken devices replaced easily. Also, you can get names and phone numbers engraved if you buy the device from Apple, which means it may be returned if lost.

I won’t go into a long review here– I read mostly non-fiction because fiction typically bores me. About 10-20% of the time, though, I like to switch to fiction to enjoy “lighter” reading than the non-fiction I typically read. I picked up Catcher in the Rye in a bookstore on a whim the other day. It really, really blew me away! I NEVER laugh out loud when I’m reading, and I must’ve literally laughed outloud several dozen times when reading this book. It was SO funny! And just brilliantly written, enjoyable to read, fun but serious at times, etc. Just a great book, a classic, and one that I should’ve read earlier in life (I’m 37 now). I will likely re-read it every few years just to remind myself how much of a page-turner it was…

I have very occasionally seen squirrely or inconsistent readings (solved last time by replacing the batteries) – but overall am getting consistent, precise, reliable readings: easy to read, hard to fudge or deny. The result, for me, has been *much* greater success at sticking to a sensible weight-loss diet. I feel fantastic and am on my way to looking a whole lot better, too! Thank you EatSmart — you make it easier.
