I didn’t buy much of how the fairies were done as technical marvels and the whole idea of a 12 year old BOY could do and think all these wonderful plans is well, half baked. Not sure if a 12 year old mind could quiet grasp such concepts so easily. The over teched faries and their allies were overdone. Fairies can still be faires w/o all the gadgetry and stil be dangerous. But the faries here weren’t particullary dangerous just overdone and arrogant and it took soemthing away with all this tech they amazingly have. The writing was moving but the author did come in and add himself in the commentary and as a case file, well I hope the next batch of case files are better. I did like Butler. He did have a conciensce and it did show. There were brief flashes that also appealed to an adult reader, but they were subtle but thoughtful. Not exactly a powerhouse book. Also the faires themselves seemed just as destructive as the mud people (we humans) they looked down on. Root toking on a stogie? Odd…

Somewhat mystified at the raves. This scale acts exactly like every other cheap digital scale I’ve owned: it is inconsistent, and also gets “stuck” at certain weights. Try this experiment: keep a five pound weight near the scale. Weigh yourself once normally, then again with the weight, and then a final time without. The last weight will often be different from the first. Just getting on and off several times in a row isn’t the same, because it also gets stuck.

If you weigh exactly the same to the tenth of a pound for several days in a row, it’s probably stuck. try the weight trick above and it seems to reset it–I’ve seen differences up to 2 lbs over or under after a reset with something a bit heavier. I’ve also had some extremely frustrating diet attempts in the past with digital scales, because I’d actually lost weight but the scale was stuck.

My long-haired cat had “dreadlocks” all throughout his fur. With this brush and a little scissors, I was able to get them all out, though it took a few sessions. Now, he doesn’t get clumps of fur anymore.

This is an excellent book. Very easy to follow and full of helpful tips. As a teacher, I find that the techniques are so well described that a beginner beadmaker can easily follow the instructions an attain success. I highly recommend this book.

I didn’t much care for the book if I could pinpoint one thing I had a problem with it has to be the fact that Holden Caulfield is a jerk and a somewhat comical figure really who deserved everything that happened to him.

This in and of itself does not make the book a bad book the annoying part is that this is one of those books that attracts a really snobbish fan base think Atlas Shrugged, Brave New World or Lord of the Flies only if you can believe it Catcher in the Rye fans make Aynn Rand fans look sane. To those people I say reading a book that someone else wrote and having a strong opinion about it does not in and of itself make you an intellectual. If Catcher in the Rye was you’re introduction to the world of literature I can respect that but there are better books to read once you have finished this one Catcher in the Rye is not the end of the road.

i have two of these mounts. i dont like the sticky ones that come with the garmin or the suction cup ones. they don’t work all the time. this one is sturdy and reliable and the garmin gps doesnt fall.

All I can tell you is that these books and the movies make me feel complete. Twilight is “my own personal brand of heroin.” The Twilight Saga books are filled with everything a hopeless romantic like me wants, two beautiful characters both aching for each other’s love, passion, action,and a fabulous plot. When I listen to the music and watch the characters falling for each other, I get a feeling in the pit of my stomach- not a sick feeling, but an ache and I wish I could just be 17 again, in the schoolyard, pining over that one guy that makes the world livable and loving him so much, you would do anything to be with him, to just feel his breath on your earlobe or his sweet melodic voice in your ear.
But what are you to do when you learn that he isn’t who you think he is. Then you love him even more. I guess when you get older, you lose or should I say miss that young love feeling that makes the goose bumps on the back of you neck stand up and the friction your heart feels when you have that first kiss- soft and sweet and for Twilight lovers, the forbidden fruit. “And so the Lion fell in love with the Lamb…”
I am happy though to tell you that my addiction is shared by so many other women, some older, some younger who feel that same attraction, an indescribable satisfaction that we get when we read the Twilight Saga books and sit in dark theaters watching the movies. This is a wonderful option/improvement to the windshield mounted device that comes with the GPS unit. Just remember – you have to have the tray that came with your GPS to make the friction mount work.
