This is the first video of Al’s that I’ve purchased, but I’ve seen countless hours of footage via other means, so I had a level of expectations when I decided to buy this. Not disappointed.
As others have noted, “Return to Electric Guitar” in the DVD title is misleading. It’s fairly well divided between electric and acoustic, and personally, I didn’t buy this just because I thought it was all electric. If anything, an adviser (or Al himself) should have realized that the title was not accurate and was misleading.
The sound quality is very, very good. The video images are excellent, as far as quality goes. However, as someone mentioned, the camera man/crew should be shot. Al’s close-ups and panning out are fine, but the rest of his band? Geez…. not just a few zoom-ins of the back of the keyboard player, but dozens! Very amateurish, imo, as far as camera work goes. I realize that Al IS the show, but some dignified focus on his pals (especially Ortiz) is in order, as well as would have made for some nice distractions at many “slower” points. I mean, you’re not filming the B52’s here, so quieter segments could have been capitalized on much better, imo. I’m not even a camera guy/directer/producer, but I’d bet big $$$ that guys who are were wincing throughout the vid itself, and the way other portions (bonus features) are done too. It may be Al’s decisions on this stuff, or he might just be surrounded with family/friends who are working outside their area of expertise. I see this same thing being prevalent in his lack of proper promotion, CD labeling, production, his website, etc..
Bottom Line – Al is an extraordinary guitar player and composer, and this DVD displays his skills and mastery. True fans won’t be disappointed, other than wishing he’d just have kept playing
. I’m only critical of the other areas I mentioned simply because I believe Al deserves and warrants nothing but the best in the production of everything he does!

Got a Kindle 2 in April, 2009. Loved it. In May, 2010, one month after the year long warranty expired, the screen got big grey patches. Worthless. That Kindle 2, purchased in the spring of 2009, was $400. Pretty expensive 13 months worth of reading, and now a pretty expensive paperweight.
Before my Kindle 2 died, while it was still functional, I had bought a Kindle 2 for my daughter for Christmas, 2009. In July, 2010 her Kindle screen went grey and splotchy. Hers was still under warranty. Amazon CS replaced it immediately. The replacement Kindle 2 lasted a little over one month before it developed the same screen problems. Amazon replaced it with yet another Kindle 2. Now that third Kindle 2 has grey blobs on the screen. They are sending her a fourth Kindle 2. She is very careful with her Kindle 2, has a cover and only reads it at home, it never even leaves the house.

Artemis Fowl was written by Eoin Colfer in 2001 and published in New York City by Hyperion Books. Although this adventure/fantasy was written by an American it is staged mainly in Ireland. In the beginning of the book, Artemis travels to the sweltering city of Ho Chi Minh, which was called Saigon, and is located in Vietnam because he wants to find a fantastical fairy book. This lively, suspenseful and humorous book features the boy wonder, Artemis Fowl in his attempt to get gold from the fairies when he kidnaps one of them. Being the first book in a series of 6, this book starts the chronicles of the adventure for Artemis Fowl. Only 5 books are completed. Hopefully, the 6th book in the Artemis Fowl series by Colfer will be out soon.
Artemis Fowl, who is the central character, is a boy of 12, a genius, and a criminal mastermind. Accompanying him on all his adventures, his massive bodyguard and sidekick, Butler, protects Artemis, aids him, and obeys him on all his capers. In this 1st book, Artemis promptly discovers that fairies do exist when he finds their Fairy Book, which is the rule book for all fairies and called The Book. Artemis is greedy and decides to kidnap a fairy because he wants to ransom her for precious fairy gold. The fairy’s name is Holly. She has a centaur friend, Foaly and a disgusting dwarf digger named Mulch Diggums, to help her thwart Artemis’ plans. Sneakily, Foaly and Mulch Diggums try to free Holly from Artemis. In the end will Holly escape from the boy genius?
Thought provoking, enjoyable, and unique, Artemis Fowl is definitely a great children’s book. From the in-depth and captivating Artemis to the stubborn and green Holly, this book boasts a wide range of characters. This story will keep the reader guessing until the very last page because of its unique storyline. Excitingly, vividly, and startlingly, at one point a troll bursts into the Fowl Manor, which is Artemis’s house, and rampages around while

With HDMI cable being so necessary for optimal HD quality these days, everyone coming out with cable of various quality(supposedly) and various costs. While you still have to pay an arm and a leg to get state of the art components for the best audio/video experience, it’s nice to be able to save a couple of dollars on the cable and still get the quality you need and these cables give you just that.

My daughter-in-law’s neighbor had purchased the furminator and gave us a demonstration. Both my daughter-in-law and I immediately ordered one. It is amazing. The amount of hair that comes off the dogs is unbelievable. It is so much better than a brush, which sends hair flying all over. The first time I used it I filled two shopping bags in about 10 minutes from the dogs. I use it weekly now and there has been so much less hair in the house. Great product.
