Kent Denali Road Bike. THE NEGATIVE: My bike was delivered with a defective wheel (an extra hole was drilled into the rim for a spoke). Kent replaced the wheel. The rim tape is too thin and narrow. One of the tires went flat as soon as I finished inflating it, because the rim tape did’t protect the tube from the inside of the rim. Kent also replaced the tube. The Shimano rear derailleur handger is bent, so that Disney Princess Girls Bike is impossible to properly adjust the index shifting. For an additional $10, Kent could have equipped the bike with the Shimano DX-30 Derailleur, which has an adjustment screw to compensate for a bent hanger. The brakes have inadequate stopping power. The brakes need to be upgraded.
THE POSITIVE: The bike is light in weight and fairly fast, due to the light weight frame and the 21 speed gear setup. I paid $139 for the bike and Amazon shipped it for free for signing up for their credit card. I am spending about $60 to upgrade the brakes and replace the rear derailleur. For about $200, I will have a reasonably priced entry level road bike.
Schwin 140 upright bike. I received the bike quickly and put the bike together in about 1 hour. The front post which the handle bars attach to do not feel secure. No matter how hard I tighten the bolts, the post won’t stay tight. This does not effect the way the bike operates though. The seat is very wide and comfortable. The pedaling action is secure and smooth. The bike is very quiet while operating. The electronics work properly too. This is a good piece of cardio equipment and I would purchase the product again.
It’s ok. I have to admit, the bike is pretty strong but not exactly strong enough to go on huge dirt jumps or something. The bike is super heavy, around like 35 pounds. Most proper bmx bikes are around 20-27 pounds, with 20 being really good. If you just use this bike for cruising around, then it’s a pretty good deal. However, if you are looking into doing tricks and going into serious bmxing I definetley do not reccomend this. The bike is actually pretty cheap though. Again, if you want to go into serious bmxing i reccomend something like an eastern, kink , etc.
