OMG, I’m so happy. I’m a bit of a neat freak (read: obsessive about cleanliness) and by some sort of cosmic joke, moved into a great apartment cursed with ancient Berber carpet in all but the kitchen and bathroom *SIGH*. The carpet was wet when we moved in, so we know some cleaning was done, but it was clearly pretty nasty. We had always planned just spending the money and getting the carpets professionally cleaned, but never wanted to go through the hassle of moving all our furniture.

Enter: Foster Puppy. In an attempt to increase my good ju-ju, we took in a foster puppy (aka Little Itty Bitty Blue Pitty- LIBBP). Oh LIBBP, you are insanely cute, but your inability to hold your urine for any of the 500 trips outside we take every day is causing my dining room carpet to become no-man’s land. Ew.

So husband and I decide carpet cleaning is now an absolute must. We weigh our options: spend $150 and have them professionally cleaned and deal with all the furniture dismantling and moving all the while knowing it will need to be repeated in the not too far future, rent a machine for $30 at the local grocery store, again knowing that this will have to be a common occurrence, or buy our own carpet cleaner. After a bit of research (and knowing that LIBBP is not done making messes), we find the Hoover SteamVac and make the purchase.

Prime membership and $3.99 overnight shipping gets it to us in time to clean up the latest messes. Pretty easy to put together (in fact, did it without the husband), and then we’re off to clean! At first I was a bit disappointed; the ancient stains did not come out of the carpet, but then again, the Hoover can’t be blamed for this; I don’t even think professional cleaners could handle them. However, all LIBBP’s spots are magically removed! And then one giant ancient stain actually did disappear. And the water, OMG the water. It was black. So even if I couldn’t see any improvement, it definitely took a TON of dirt out of these nasty carpets. I con

I loved this book and would recommend it to anyone interested in the history of the south or special interest stories. I love the voice of the narrators — it was a great read. I’ve loaned this book to several friends/family to read as well.

This is an amazing book. If you have diabetes I highly recommend it, and if you don’t, I recommend you buy on of the other “Eat Right 4 Your Blood Type”. It was incredible to see this book hit right on the spot that the foods I like are mostly good for me, and then ones I dislike are mostly bad for my blood type. The book details which foods are beneficial for my diabetes, and in less than a month, I’ve achived an considerable reduction in my glucose level.

This is a great book, written from the point of view of three different people. it is not confusing when the author goes back and forth between the characters. The flow is smooth and easy to follow. I thought it was a great book and I highly recommend it.

This camera when it is working properly is AWESOME! but honestly it constantly falls off line for no reason, sometimes you can’t acces the site, and everything happens randomly as I don’t move the camera around and is is about a foot away from the wireless.

But one good thing about foscam is that their Tech support is INCREDIBLY GOOD.

I am pissed that this card did not come with a case. Come on, SD cases sell for a penny on Ebay, how much money did the manufacturer save by not including a case, less than a penny. But it’s a major inconvenience for me, now I have to buy a case for this card which is a spare and won’t be in the camera. Transcend just lost a customer, I hope it was worth the penny.

Let me start by stating that Twilight is the second supernatural novel I had ever read at the time. I read Twilight almost 2 years ago. I will be honest; when I first read Twilight I `liked’ it. I thought it was a good book. After about a year I had read more supernatural books. That’s when I started to think about Twilight and that’s also when I realized that it was a little overrated. I have my reasons as to why I didn’t enjoy the book as much.

Number One: The Characters. Isabella Swan, who likes to be called Bella, is the main character. Bella arrives to Forts, Washington with a kind of gloomy mood. She seems dry and unconcerned at first. I thought this would soon go away. I later find out that I was wrong. Bella’s mood was a major turn off. Edward was exactly the same. He was boring and was hard to read about. Usually I like my characters to be quirky and witty. The only characters that I liked were Alice, Emmett, and Jacob.

Number Two: The Plot. The plot or should I say the `lack of plot’ through me off completely, from reading the back of the book I knew that it was about a girl falling in love with a vampire. But, I didn’t realize that it would have no other action. The only action I found remotely exciting was the fight scene at the very end of the book, and it still left me a little dry.
Number Three: The Couple. Because Bella and Edward are both boring, they bored me to near death as a couple. I would have rather read about Alice and Jasper or Emmett and Rosalie. I grew tired of Bella and Edward.

All in All, I gave this book three stars because even though it lacked to components to a good story it was still and okay read and I don’t regret reading it.
